Last post of March :O

It's April Fool's Day tomorrow!! Just in case you weren't already aware. I have no fools planned, but I'm anticipating a few not so nice surprises from my siblings..
Well to finish off all the posts from March here's a round up of some bits and pieces I've bought this month!!

♥ Bag: Charity Shop purchase! £3!! BARGAIN!! And it's real leather.. I adore it!

♥ Top & Leggings: Charity Shop but originally H&M. £2.99 and £3.99 I think.. Will both be in outfit posts soon!!

♥ Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate Eggs: 99p in Home Bargains!!! These babies are so addictive, I'm planning on stocking up before they stop selling them!

♥ BOOOOKS! Borrowed from my library so completely free for one month. I almost bought the 101 Things To Do Before You Diet a couple of months ago but I'm glad I didn't cos I can read it for nothing! Perfick. I'm trying to get into cooking hence the cookery books. ;)

♥ My new bestfriend, and worst enemy. Clare Nasir's Bootcamp: Tesco's £12.97. IT IS SO HARD!! Do not buy this if you want a dead easy workout, but if like me, you wanted something challenging but easy to pick up, then I'd recommend it. I haven't managed to do the whole thing in one go yet (It's over an hour long!!) but I have been doing two 20 minutes sessions every other day and already I'm noticing a difference. Although I am slightly sceptical about her weight loss..

♥ Extra Strong Mints: 59p for three
♥ Nail Varnish Remover: 39p
♥ Toothbrush: 39p
♥ Elvive Full Restore 5 Shampoo & Conditioner: £1.99 each
All from Home Bargains..

♥ Benefit "Finding Mr. Bright": £28.50
My lovely big sister bought this for me from Boots when we went for a free makeup lesson at the Benefit counter. I LOVE it!! I'm determined to make it last for as long as I can though.. I'll do a full review soon!!

Haven't bought a whole bunch this month really, but what I have I'm very pleased with.
Got lots do this evening, including writing a CV, blitzing my bedroom in preparation for my plans this weekend, having a shower and figuring out how to get my hair cut. Better get started!!!

With much love, xx

HIIIIIIIII!

Happy spring!! It's officially here ladies and gents (although I suspect it is mostly ladies that stumble upon my lil' corner of the internet) which means longer, sunnier days and flowers and baby animals and Easter holidays and summer is on it's way!!! Ahh what beautiful thoughts!

Well I have so many posts planned it's rather crazy, but making the time to sit here and edit, and write, and arrange is a little tricky just now. However, I do have to weekend off work so I will hopefully get them sorted out then.

Today's ramble is to give you a sneak peak at what I got up to Saturday.. my lovely big sister lives in Manchester which a fair way from where I live with the rest of my family (minus my brother who is also living away at Uni) so I went up to visit her for the day. It was so great to see her, especially as she's just been through a rough time and I was desperate to give her a massive hug! I've never been to that city before, and I adored it! Might seem strange but the architecture is gorgeous and it was a pretty day weatherwise too. We went shopping, and got our makeup done at a Benefit counter before going to a local cocktail bar/cafe for a late lunch. And my oh my, it was so good! We had virgin Mojitos and delicious food in a really secluded and cosy corner of the basement.

Mmmmm..

Ever the polite one ;)

Us with our delicious mojitos.

I love the way the makeup artist at Benefit did my makeup!!!!

All in all it was a lovely, gorgeous, perfect day until I had to leave. That was harder than I thought it would be, and much as I would have loved to stay I had to get back for work.
Must dash to get ready, I'm going out with some friends and my boyfriend to see a play tonight.

What did you guys get up to last weekend??
With much love, xx

The sunshine is here!!

Bonjour beautiful people!!
I am absolutely loving the sunny days we've been having in my neck of the woods recently, it makes me think of summer and all the loveliness that goes with that!!

I was really struggling emotionally early last week and on Thursday afternoon my wonderful Mum gave me the afternoon off school work and encouraged me to spend some time cheering myself up. Cue major bedroom sorting, cookies, a visit to my local charity shops, and a little face of the day for you lot :)

I couldn't get my camera out without taking a picture of these two.. They were enjoying the sunshine in my room as much as I was!!

You gotta love cookies!!

My charity shop purchases.. The mug was 25p, the baskets were 45p for the two, the tin was 75p, and the pot was £1.. BARGAINS! I'll show you how I'm using them once I'm completely happy with my new arrangement.

My somewhat tired looking face of the day. Really sorry but I cannot for the life of me remember what makeup I was wearing. Nothing particularly exciting! I'll do a more interesting fotd soon.

Anyways I'm off to continue watching One Born Every Minute!!

Hey lovelies!!
I was browsing the internet the other day (as you do) and I came across a very unflattering blog post about these pictures of Jennifer Love-Hewitt..

While they might not be the best bikini pics of Jen, what's all the fuss about?! It makes me sick to see so much negativity about someone who is so beautiful just because she is a bigger dress size than your average supermodel! It's no wonder teenage girls have such low self esteem when this perfectly gorgeous form is considered 'fat'! She has curves!! I love how happy she is in these pictures.. she's not trying to hide her body, but seems to be totally comfortable in her own skin! And so she should be!!

I have had my share of body image issues, and I still do at times. But I'm beginning to see that big is just as beautiful as little. Wobbly is just as sexy as toned. Pale and interesting is just as glamorous as having a California-girl tan.

And in the same way, having big boobs and a butt does not make you more womanly than someone with a more athletic figure! Look at the likes of Kate Hudson, Keira Knightly, or Cameron Diaz! They are just as gorgeous as the lovely Jennifer Love-Hewitt, even though they have far fewer curves.

The thing is being comfortable with the way you look. Be healthy, absolutely but don't beat yourself up cos you don't look like someone off the pages of GLAMOUR. You are truly stunning because of who you are not what you look like.

Rant over :)

fruit tea & chocolate

Don't you just love those cosy evenings in when you can do anything you fancy doing?? I do! Tuesday nights are usually quite for me, as my sisters & Mum are out, my Dad gets the TV, and my best friend is at college til late so we don't chat til later.. and I usually speak to the boy just before I go to bed. So on this particular Tuesday I decided to be slightly more productive than usual.. do my French work!! I use Rosetta Stone (a computer programme designed to teach whichever language you choose in the same way we learn how to speak, write, and read our first language) so I prepared myself a little snack first..

Cue deliciousness!! I'm on a bit of a health kick, and trying to cut down on how much caffeine filled tea I drink. So I tried fruit teas and I love them!! So tasty.. this one tastes very strawberry-ish. Obviously, the chocolate mousse and tiffin aren't so healthy but hey every girl deserves a bit of indulgence!!

When I'd finished my French, I turned to the book I've been reading, Leota's Garden by a Christian writer called Francine Rivers. It's truly brilliant!! I highly recommend it!

Hope you're all having a good March!

Long time no see..

Why good evening to all of my followers!!
I'm very sorry for my absence from Blogger recently.. to be honest I'd given up on this idea of blogging, I'd stopped enjoying it and had not got a clue what to write about any more! I even told my best friend that I wasn't going to do it again. Famous last words!!
Well, I'm back, and hopefully to stay. I suddenly had a bit of inspiration, and even though my tiny little space on the internet is barely noticed, and far from everything I want it to be, I might just re-fall-in-love with rambling, raving and reviewing away as Ibbabelle again. Unfortunately due to a huge lack of time or inclination to post every day, it's more likely that there will be something up once a week to begin with. Who knows whether I'll get obsessed and be posting every few hours?! We'll just have to wait and read..

So! HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone I haven't typed it to yet! I know it's a bit late.. but I hope 2011 is fantastic so far!! It's certainly started out as a great year! Spring is in the air, and I have a few posts lined up but I leave you with a song I am in love with at the moment;

With much love, xx
